The red or purple fountain grass comes to mind. It is a pennisetum, I think. And there is red switch grass too. Welcome to Gardenbuddies, Edenjose! I hope this is helpful...

Imperata cylindrica 'Red Baron' turns increasingly red as the summer progresses. By August/September it is truly red - not dark brown like most "red" grasses.

hi, just noticed this thread now, a good grass for your climate which turns gorgeously bright-orange-red is Miscanthus sinensis 'Ghana' its my number on the list of autumncolouring grasses up to 180cm .almost a must have for each grasslover !! p.s. the more light it gets the better the colour gets !
