I like the interest this plant adds to the Winter garden even when it has lost its rosy glow.

I love this plant, partly because it is beautiful, partly because it was a gift. It is planted in a protected spot because it is borderline hardy for us. It starts its growth very late but lasts and lasts after that. I hope it survives for a good long time! May the winter be good to us this year!

This one is on my grass 'wish list'. I haven't found it yet :( Nice photo, Shirley!

Thanks so much Marie & Susan. I love ornamental grasses in the landscape for the texture & vertical element that they add, plus the changes during each season.

SusanQ - I don't know if you are still looking for this grass, but Paradise Garden sells this cultivar - http://www.paradisegarden.com/shop/product.php?id=PGG0020

Glad I could help, SusanQ. I have not purchased anything from Paradise Gardens, but a flyer for them comes with the Oakes DayLilies catalogue, so them must be all right! :-) (http://www.oakesdaylilies.com/supplier/home.php?id=s000)
