What kind of grass?

Any idea what I have - carex or rush perhaps? Closeup of "flowering stem". It's hardy to zone 3, likes medium wet to wet soil conditions, and full sun to part shade. It blooms May-September and will reach 1.5-3' in height and 1-2' in width.
