Hi everyone, This is my Liberty this year. she has taken the new first place in my gardens this year. At least for today ;-) I've so enjoyed looking at all your hosta pictures lately. Spring is such a wonderful time of year. Everything looks so fresh and new, especially the hostas! Here are a couple of my bed pictures also.

That is a fabulous clump of Liberty that you have. It seems to have many eyes, lucky you. I si have a small Liberty in it's 2nd year and just love the shape and colors. Your pictures are wonderful. A very peaceful looking place. Mary

Sandy, your Liberty is a real beauty! What a really lovely, lush shade garden you have. Could you identify the hosta to the far right of the last photo?

Thanks everyone!! Sunnyday, that is an old one I've had forever and don't really remember the name. It is a very common one. That's funny because I have over 100 different kinds and have them all named except a few. Maybe someone else will recognize it and I can give it a name tag finally.

Lovely garden and lovely hosta's, Sandy! Not easy to tell a name this way- can you make a picture of only that hosta? Gerda

Found a tag on one of the three, she's Gold Standard. I knew it was on old one. Nice because the slugs don't bother her and no disease problems.

Liberty is a wonderful plant.I was up in Scotland last week and saw it in a nursery in a large tub.It was one of their show plants and was magnificent. Bought a small plant to take home for Mrs. W. who is a hosta fan. Your garden looks very lovely

I can't imagine a garden without hostas. They are very valuable here in Maine as they are so hardy. I took a trip to nearby Fieldstone Gardens last week during my vacation - they have a superb woodland garden with fantastic hostas. I love the look of 'Liberty'.
