I couldn't find any place that I could put this so I will try here.
Now don't laugh (I'm new) but I planted an elephant ear bulb couple weeks ago but it's not growing, I wonder if I planted it upside down or not...now it's too hard to tell which side it up!!???? h-e-l-p

My elephant ears are just coming up. They are always very late. Maybe yours is just getting ready to come up.

Yes, there really is a LARGE plant called an Elephant Ear. It stands about 6' tall and the leaves are like 40"long and 2 1/2'wide. They grow from bulbs and the leaves make wonderful cement leaves for decoration. This man has a hundred of them and said I can come out and cut all the leaves I wanted to cement!!So I did and made him some too. I only made one large one cause it's TOO heavy, so I made smaller ones.

This is two cement ones I made.

Perkie you would know them as Colocasia.
Neshane I like your concrete leaves.

I made a big birdbath out of mine last year. The bigger the better! DH did have to help me carry it to it's resting place.
