Author Message   Jim_sullivan  Posted on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 - 07:05 pm EST :    Hello to All, I am new to this group so I hope it doesn't sound to forward of me to ask if anyone is doing some hybridizing with Heuchera with the aim of producing plants with larger flowers. I have heard that the species alba? has larger flowers, but I could not find a source for any seed. Any help with seed from this species or hybrids of other species with larger flowers would be greatly appreciated. I remember years ago just a year or so prior to the big explosion of varieties in color etc. I had a variegated seedling show up in my seedlings and I thought Wow! and then the explosion happened and it didn't seem so exciting somehow or at least not earth shattering if you know what I mean.
