I've purchased three, very small plants last year. They grew quickly and this year have become huge clumps of bronze, green and purple foliage. The tiny flowers on tall spikes are very long lived and present a lovely picture together with the colorful foliage.

What lovely colors yours are. I love the rust tones in them.
Mine are all in pretty deep shade and don;t have those colors at all.

I think in more dappled light conditions Palace Purple is in fact more purple. Yet, I rather like it bronzy with the froth of flowers!
People are always debating how much sun/shade to provide their heucheras.

These get sun till about noon or one at the most. I believe they were much more purple at the beginning of the season. Maybe the lack of rain has something to do with the rusty color, although I try to water as often as I can.

Mine is also in full sun, as in baking all day long, and is a bronzy colour like yours, just putting out flowers as well.

I have these as well. They are in FULL SUN. They occasionally get the bronze color if they get thirsty and might even get 'crispy' edges if they 'bake'. Lots of flowers that last and last.
Last week I found a seedling coming up along the driveway, I potted it up.
Today I lifted 3 old ones that always get heaved up by frost. They looked bad so I divided them into a dozen pots. What am I going to do with them if they do well?
The now empty spot will either get a Gailardia or a primrose. Maybe something else that can take the heat.
So many plants, so little open space.

I like yours very much Luiza. I have half a dozen of these PPs...they are beautiful solo or make a pretty base plant for clematis. This one gets full sun in the afternoon but is surrounded by cooling light color stones.

This one gets morning and only early afternoon sunlight. We've had plenty, plenty enough rain. ;)

I haven't tried dividing yet, maybe next year. Yours look great Tanya, I love their foliage.
I moved one recently as half of its leaves were always on the grass which made mowing difficult. I still have to fill the spot.

Here is one of the nicer ones I have. In full sun.

Note how some of the leaves are eaten. Caterpillars enjoy them, if I don't watch them they can get seriously defoliated. Next time I spray the fruit trees I'll hit these, too.

Interesting seeing the colors difference. Mine is located in a fairly shaded location and is a darker purple as well. Lovely pics of each heuchera!

I find it interesting that everyones Purple Palace, Palace Purple are doing so well but mine got burnt around the edges from the sun. I will be interested to see if they grow more now with sun. Only time will tell!

You have a more intense sun right now than we zone 5'ers have DW.
