Does anybody know the ID of my Heuchera? I bought this plant at a discount market for 0.40€ last year, of course nameless. The colour of the foliages was brown purple. This year it turns to green. Could it be that it’s too sunny?

That looks like Palace Purple to me even though it does have a lot of green in it.

Thanks Tanya! Why it's so green?

I was at a nursery today and saw some that were really purple and some that were more green...identical in every other way. It is curious why some maintain more green and some the deep purple.

Could location of the plant have something to do with it? Some dark leaved plants loose their color in a sunnier spot.

Mine tend to bronze up a bit in the full sun, Terry...no green though.

Palace Purple can be grown from seed so there is probably some variation. It does look like Palace Purple.
