This and Miracle really do seem to be a whole new direction for Heuchera. I'm not aware of others with so much red.

Tanya, they're all Tiramisu! I just read an article about it: it starts out greenish yellow and ends up red. So it would seem you get a lot of Heucheras for your money I also read the flowers are white and appear towards the end of summer (probably not so important with those gorgeous leaves, anyway) and it is a cross between 'Caramel' and 'Gloire d'Orléans'.

Well, it's quite the chameleon, Mara. You're right, it's a lot of heucheras for the money then. I look forward to it's phases and am, of course, anxious to add this one...who knows, I might have to have two. Thanks so much for the info.

Tanya, you might be delighted to know that not only is Miracle available through Wayside Gardens, but that Wayside (and sister nursery, Park Seed) get many of their plants from C.Rakers in Litchfield, MI. While Rakers is not open to the public and serves as a growers/supplier to businesses only, if you order Miracle there's a pretty good chance it will be shipped from Rakers. Thought you'd find that interesting.

Greg, I just found your post and am delighted with this info, indeed. I am always dazzled by the good variety we have to choose from each year. Must be because of the Litchfield folks...that's terrific! Thanks for the info.
