Hi. Within the last week, a bunch of plants in the sorely-neglected front garden of my new house (well, 40+ years old, but new to me) have gone from barley noticeable to just about taking over an entire section. Can anyone tell me if these are going to flower, or if I should get rid of them before they choke out the few tulips, irises, and daffodils that have survived this far?
This is 3 shoots of the same plant, all twined around each other
Thanks

Yes, get rid of them. It's invasive bittersweet, Celastrus orbiculatus. Plants have a yellow-orange root. http://www.invasive.org/browse/subject.cfm?sub=3012

Sorry it took so long to reply. Thanks for taking time to identify this. I've pulled it all out. From what I've been able to find on the stuff, it's pretty difficult to completely eradicate, but I'll keep picking at it whenever it pops up. Thanks again :)
