I only noticed this tree because it was in bloom. There is no perfume to the flower and it measures about 3" across and about 4" to the stem. The bloom resemble a Nicotiana bloom but is much larger. It is cream coloured with a touch of green. I thought it may be in the Plumeria family but can't find any info.

There is a Plumeria with narrow petals called P. stenopetala, but the flowers are scented. In the same family there's a small tree called Kopsia pruniformis- could it be this? Sadly, I've never seen either of them!

Viorna, the plumeria stenopetala certainly looks like my tree! It has the slight twist to the petals. Unfortunately the flowering tree was in the shade of other larger tree so the colouring in the photo may be 'off'. I will also 'sniff' them again! I will keep and eye out for the seeds pods and send you some, if you wish.

It does look like a Plumeria with its twisted petals. You say Nicotiana which is in the potato family(Solanaceae),not sure which family Plumeria is in.

Thank you for the offer of seeds, but it is too cold here for any Plumerias, and I doubt if they would grow well indoors (and would get too big!). If I was still living in Florida I would certainly have accepted your offer.
