The local flower market has been selling these without a tag for the past few weeks.. I asked the girl today what they were called but she only spoke French :( .. so through the translation - we think it's capers.

However I can't find anything similar through Google. The leaves are very round and the stem is thin and lanky.

thanks :)

Its a nasturium plant. The seeds when they form can be used the same way as capers.By the way,you can use the leaves in a salad too, they have a nice peppery taste.I grow these every year just for the leaves.
