Is this Virginia Creeper? It is growing all over the place and I didn't have any of 'it' last year.

I would agree with that identification - Parthenocissus quinquefolia - if you prefer. Virginia creeper is my vote. They turn a deep burgundy here in the fall.

Yes and it seems to grow about 10 feet a day. A weed for me from my neighbor's yard.

Yes, it is Virginia Creeper, and unless that tiny three-leaved thing growing next to it is just baby Virginia Creeper, it looks like you may also have Poison Ivy. VC and PI are best friends.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of it. Where I have found it the vines don't seem too big...yet. I sprayed poison ivy round up on it and it didn't do a darn thing. I'm scared to touch it as I have heard you can have a reaction to it.

Yes Virginia creeper

I have trees on the other side of this fence an many plants under them

The creeper keep growing over the trees I must keep cut down or it will smoother them but I like it on this side

But after 10 years it pops up everywhere and even when I put pieces in the compost, it rooted and grew

I do chop job at least 3 times a year

PULL. That's what I do around my place. Keep up with it and it will quit coming back. Yes, some people do have a reaction to VC, so handle it just like you would PI.

Type it this way and the picture will show up:

\imagelink{http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v469/Butterfly0/PICT0013-5.jpg }

Or click the third button from the right (to the left of the rose) above where you type your message and then type the URL of your image (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v469/Butterfly0/PICT0013-5.jpg).

That refers to both the PI and the VC. Not sure which you were asking about. LOL.

If you were asking about the PI, as you can see, both things can cause a reaction. Do not touch either one with your bare skin. I wear disposable gloves over regular gardening gloves and scrub really well after pulling. Be careful when handling your clothes and shoes when you're done, too. Any plant oils on them can make you break out.
