These aren't the greatest of pics but I have two plants I can't figure out what they are. The first is from a tree that is about 13 feet tall but the branches a very weak and sag.

The second one is about 4 feet tall (but there are larger ones in the yard) It doesn't stand up very good on it's own and about a month ago there were very tiny yellow flowers.

The first one looks like sumac. Although they are colorful in the fall (turning red), they are a pest for me........invasive.

Agreed with the others on the sumac and I'd make some tea from the berries if it were in my yarden. Oh wait, I have dozens of them. That second one I'm not sure. My first thought was pea family, maybe Gymnocladus, but but I don't know. Does it have a milky sap? It could be a Euonymus - like others I wish I could touch it.

I didn't have anything turn red last year and I have never seen the berries that appear to be on sumacs (after searching what they look like) Any more suggestions?

Hmmm. Can we get a close of of where the petioles adjoin to the stem? I don't think it's a Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima) because the vascular system doesn't appear to be so pronounced. Hard to tell from the photo if the leaves are alternating or opposite. I do see now that the stem is green - should be reddish on those of the most popular variety of sumac (Rhus glabra, Rhus typhina or Rhus typhina).

Is it woody? I mean it "could" be black walnut (Juglans nigra) - would really like to see the joints. What gets me is the pinate V. Buy the way, speaking of Rhus, remember one of the least desirable is Rhus typhina ... poison ivy.

Here, I found a petiole joint close-up of Ailanthus http://images.harc.edu/Sites/GalvBayInvasives/Species/Photos/AIAL_1330079.j pg
