This little guy stowed away in a pot with another plant that I bought at the nursery this Spring. I discovered him when planting the purchased item, and stuck him in a pot of soil for a couple of weeks. It grew like crazy, so I planted it. But I have no idea what it is. Do you?

I think it is called "smartweed",I have hundreds of them growing on the side of the house. For some reason this year, there is more than I have ever seen before in my life.It could be because of all the rain we have been having. It could be called"lady's thumb"too.

You might want to get rid of it. It gets into everything.

Thanks for the info. I will get rid of it today. Just my luck. I thought I had a bonus plant that was growing fast and it turned out to be a weed. I've never seen it around here before. I'm glad I asked. Thanks again!
