I think this is the last mystery I have for now. A friend gave me this plant but didn't know the name of it. All she could tell me was that it blooms in the fall. I don't even know what color. It looks like a weed to me, but I don't know much...LOL Do you know what it is?

The leaves put me in mind of obedient plant, Physostegia virginiana.

Thanks for the response, Abgardeneer. Since I posted the question, my friend who gave me the plant found its identity. It is a Dragonflower. Now I can't wait to see it bloom. It's doing very well so far.

...And "dragonflower" is a rather obscure name for "obedient plant", which is a more common common name for Physostegia virginiana.
