In order to get my pics under 100 KB to post here I have to shrink them way down. It used to work fine, but apparently I'm doing something wrong now.

I agree, though it's hard to be certain (or more specific) without close-up photos.

If it is a cotoneaster the PFAF says the berries are edible. I've eaten many things people assured me are deadly poisonous just to look at and I think I'm still living. If not there is obviously blogging and internet in Heaven.

Well- it does look like a cotoneaster. maybe i need ot look at more cotoneasters, but the berries are purple in the fall i know that. hmm- it may be. I"ll look into it more.
