Potentially a sad story. Found this little(?) fella on deck early one morning as we were approaching Trinidad. Obviously injured (or just resting), but clearly not prepared to move. After much discussion two very brave ladies decided they would try to pick it up and throw it over the side; on the basis it would either fly (if it didnt have a broken wing) or drop like a stone if it did. They wrapped it in a sheet (with some difficulty) and managed to get to the rail where, happily, it flew off. I even managed to capture the departure on video. Nice moment.
