Having just returned from a ten day trip I thought others might like to see a random selection of photos from this beautiful country, See also the Hellebore and Iris forums. We travelled from Athens to Delphi,Loutro Ipatis, Kalambaka,Edessa, Elassone, Karditsa and then back to Delphi and Athens.

I thought the same thing! What wonderful photos, it must have been a great trip. Were you traveling with the cyclamen society or just a fun trip on your own?

Yes I did, it took me to places where I could photo old buildings and doorways like those that follow.
No Terry it was a private trip, I was with three friends but they are all members of the cyclamen society

I can't believe you walked up those stairs! But what you found was worth it. I love the photos of the doors and the flowers growing up to the edge of the door.

What gorgeous photos Melvyn. I love Greece. This is the first time in years that I won't be going in May . I love the old buildings, with flowers growing on the insides, the sheep and shepherds, beautiful old churches, roadside shrines and the stunning scenery!...I almost feel I've been on holiday too.....almost! Thanks so much for sharing these with us.
