My wife and I and our little dog bubbles have just enjoyed a lovely week in Port Issac. We were blessed with glorious weather for the whole time. Port Issac is an old fishing village full of interest with lovely old cottages and little alleyways you just have to explore. British members will remember it as the location for the television series Doc Martin.I hope I have managed to capture a little of the atmosphere.I will do a further post on the surrounding area and another on the plants that grow there.

Oh my, what a fun visit! I feel like I was there with you! The photos are superb. Love the angles. I always wonder how those hanging baskets are watered... Thanks for sharing Pat.

We love this little village and enjoy Doc Martin so much. I'd love to stroll around Port Isaac myself! They must keep fit with the walking up and down hill, and the view! Port Wen ... definitely is a place I think of fondly.

What a fantastic group of photos Pat. I especially like the first photo, what a beautiful view I'm glad the sun shone while you were there...you need it when you're on holiday. I bet the TV programme Doc Martin has promoted even more tourism there. Having watched the series, I for one always thought it would be a great place to visit ...and your photos say it all. Looking forward to your next postings!
