And here are the photos of the cave that is in this canyon, it is huge, 6 km long, and about 20 m high!of course I entered for about maybe 600 m, but it is really scary, there is no light, and it is soooo cold there! But amazing!Plant Forum

This area is VERY beautiful and very special for nature too.
It looks very like the Auvergne region in France and the Karst in Slovenia and of course Plitvice.
That stunning limestone geomorphology with a massive variety of flora and fauna.
Very Green with envy.
The UK is destroyed with no wild places left - too many people too much greed.

Addict, these people that work in the reservate of Uvac have a strict policy not to let more than 300 people a year to enter the reservate, becouse of the posible destruction of the nature. They also have a camp there, which is the only manmade thing there, and you can`t, for example, bring your own boat and go for a ride. Only they can take you, and that is in my opinion a good practice. One of those people is a policeman, so in case of ilegal fishing or hunting, he will arrest you! The site is really amazing, and if I get a chance again, I will certanly go there again!
And as for the cave, it is totaly weird, and since you can`t see nearly nothing there, I just took photos by chance..Oh, and one more interesting thing, there is pure water there, wich i drunk, it is cold and tasty! In fact, the whole area is full with water( little streams), and it is so clean that we drunk it whenever we find it!

What a beautiful area it is Joyday.

How lucky for you to be one of only 300 people a year allowed to visit. It is certainly a place that I would love to see. My hubby is also a keen birdwatcher, so I know the eagles and vultures you have there would certainly be of interest.

Thank you for sharing your trip with us.
