Every summer for the past few years a group of us wrangle our way to a few personal spaces in different geographic areas...and have a ball! We've been to areas in Michigan, Oregon, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Chicago...and more. This year it will be Philadelphia area with the Scott Arboretum, Chanticleer, Morris Arboretum, Winterthur and Longwood, and those private ones as well. I sure hope I can make it this year too. I've had the pleasure of going to a wonderful private one...I will never forget it! The creativity and skill in putting together an alpine garden finds me just memsmerized. On the other hand, I've never met a garden (large or small) that I didn't like.
