I'm going to Hilton Head next week. Is there anything I should not miss in Charleston, SC or Savannah, GA? They look pretty close.

I would love to go to "The Lady and Sons" restaurant in Savannah, Donna. I hear it's a wait in line thing, though...I would! :) There's so much history to take in...Have fun!

Oh, Mother Nature, Charleston is 2 hours north and you definitely want to come see the historic city. If you will privately email me, I can send you lots of info. Meanwhile here is a link to the visitors center: www.charlestoncvb.com/visitors/index.html And this is the official city link: www.ci.charleston.sc.us/ There are many lovely gardens & plantations to visit, but one thing you must see is the "Angel Oak" tree. It is free and is a majestic site to behold: www.angeloaktree.org/history.htm Since Charleston is a city of homes and gardens, it is best to plan to walk the streets to really appreciate its beauty. I work in the historic district, so if you are coming, perhaps we can plan a "Gardenbuddy Get-together"! Carolyn
