Thank you for the tour of Mallorca, Mariae! You take wonderful evening shots with your camera. I love having strolled the streets with you :) Could that you be walking in the next to last picture?

Beautiful, Mariae, but not as intriguing to me as some of the smaller places you have shown us. It looks like you had a good time there, though.

Thanks to everybody.
No I am not in the pic, Susan, I am just the photographer.

First one, a food market in a village.

That food in the market looks tempting.

The shallow, wide steps to the church - one for each day of the year? - remind me of pilgrimage places I went to as a child, where you went up the steps on your knees.

Fascinating places.

Thanks to you all, Terryk Susan, Valia, you are very kind with your words.

Valia, as you say, I also believe that 365 steps fit to one for day of the year, therefore I did not raise all, only those of 2 or 3 months (some people invite us to have a cup of tea in the middle) and we didn't have too much time.

Susan, also I am charmed with all your pics. Thanks.

The architecture of Mallorca, Spain is unbelievable as are so many places. The pictures are wonderful and I envy you on that vacation. Everyone should have the opportunity to see Europe and know what OLD really is and that "OLD should be cherished. I'm too old for the Peace Corp so if I ever win a Lottery, I would travel the rest of my life and visit the roof gardens of the world. I had the opportunity to go to Italy in the Fall of 2005, to the coast and Sienna and Rome. Soon those pics will be posted.

Chollyjohn, we are expecting to see your pics.

We have been in Italy (Milan, Sienna, Pisa, Venecia, Rome..) many years ago and I miss it. I would like to travel again with your pics.

Lovely pictures, the rose window in the cathedral is a sight to behold and I still have slides of it. It brought back memories,we went there for 2 weeks in 1969 for our honeymoon. It was quite unusual to go abroad then and package tours had only just started.Still the same wife as then
