One of my favorite places to visit is Brookgreen Gardens. The combination of view points that exist with flower beds, trees, shrubs, etc. is incredible. Unlike many Botanical Gardens, these type of gardens formed by Philanthropists years ago seems so much more personal. There are many wonderful ideas how art and sculpture can accent your garden.
Being a bird lover too, I slowly approached the specimen with my camera. I couldn't resist taking this picture near the reflecting pond I was careful not to scare it; amazingly, it didn't move.
