and she didn't let me down :). I noticed growth a few weeks ago and here is what I have now on my GB fuchsia that I cut to the ground pretty much :)

That seems to have answered my problem. I hesitated as to how far back I should cut my fuschias. I gave them just a light trim on the outer. I am supposing that I should be much more drastic. They are starting to flower, but a very poor showing.
