Very unusual for this time of year .

Ground too wet with all the rain we have had this week to catch up on weeding before the end of the year arrives with bad weather.

They are looking beautiful! Seems my fuchsia's did much of nothing this summer, too hot I think. Now that it's cooling down some they are happy as can be. Until the first frost that is.

Same here, I usually cut them hard-back at the end of September, admittedly the plants themselves are not so dense with leaves and flowers as in July/August, but we still have flowers

Kath how lucky we are still to have pleasure of our delightful fuchsias at this time of year.
At first glance seeing your Silvia Barker did think it was Lyes Unique very similar don't you think.

How many fuchsias are in your baskets Kath?

Yes indeed, the colours of Lyes Unique and Sylvia Barker are very similar.

Forgot to say Kath, there are 3 fuchsia plants in each of those 12 inch hanging pots, which are now 5 years old

Kath what size is your hanging pot your beautiful fuchsias are growing in.

Started off vey cold this morning 2degC even needed on my hat and gloves and now it has turned out a lovely afternoon and blue sky but still cold.

Sunshine makes everyone smile and feel happy and you can always wrap up warm for the cold weather.

As I said above Kath, each pot is 12 inches across at the top . It's alright today in the greenhouse behind the glass with the sun out, but wind outside is rather chilly

Sorry Kath misread saw the 3 fuchsia pots xhanging pot missed the 12"pot.

Yes a very cold wind and normally you would be a milder spell than us .not snow yet but did feel cold enough for it this morning.
