I've got a hanging basket for 2 years now and the fuchsias are already growing again. But the hanging basket is broken, what should I do ? Should I repot them or not, I don't know what to do and I really don't want to lose this fuchsia Please help me Maarten

Hi Maarten, I suggest you buy another hanging basket, put some soil in the bottom of same, then carefully cut-away/remove the rest of the broken hanging basket. Try not to disturb the rootball too much and carefully lift out and place in new basket and fill-in with soil. Water and place out of full sun for a few days and it should be ok.

Hi Maarten, Lucky that it happened now - plants do want to grow now in our climate, so it is the best time for re-potting! Hallo Maarten, Gewoon voorzichtig verpotten, de fuchsia's willen in ons klimaat NU groeien, dus je hebt geluk dat het nu gebeurde!

I finally found a hanging basket that is big enough for my old plant (even a bit to big. So I was wondering could I fill the waterholes with (boomschors) or should I take broken pieces of a pot (So that the waterholes can let out the water easily Thanks Maarten

No I wouldn't fill the waterholes with anything Maarten, a few 'crocks' (broken pieces of pot) would be OK
