The fuchsias here are just lovely this month. I normally prune them back fairly hard in July as they don't do terribly well in the heat of the summer here anyway. The result is a bountiful flush of blossoms in September. I thought you'd enjoy seeing some of these beauties.
This is a pot that has Beacon Rosa and Beacon together. This is a four year old plant and is about two feet tall.

This Christina is a new plant for me this year and I just love its upright habit and very full double flowers.

Deanne, These are so beautiful! I can't be tempted into collecting another plant! Especially one so water needy and that has to be overwintered! But I am. I am so tempted! What do you do with yours in the winter?

Beautiful macro shots Deanne. Yes indeed, fuchsias do appreciate the cooler temps of Autumn (fall) and have that final 'burst' of flowering before the dreaded frosts come our way Kath Zone 8b UK
