Charlieann- you can make an herbal angel with the sweet annie. Gather a bunch of the annie and tie at top like a swag. This will be the body. Use a wooden spoon and paint a face on it. Stick the handle of the spoon down into the annie and glue. To make arms use raffia. Make a braid of raffia long enough to wrap around behind the body and down to form arms. Bring the ends together in front and glue a small basket in front. You can put dried flowers in the basket or small apples. For the wings use twigs or a preserved greenery. You can glue dried flowers around the neck to hide where the spoon was glued. At top of head glue some spanish moss for hair and make a dry flower garland for head. Make a hanger in the back with ribbon or raffia and attach.
