OH. WAIT! That was "Purple Haze."

I would've added parsley & rosemary to this thread but the photos were too blurry.

Can't remember what variety of thyme this is but I like it.

Purple Haze is distinct from Purple Sage is it? looks like it, the Purple Sage has a deeper colour on all leaves. Mine is tiny at the moment, being nursed in a pot until spring.
Guessing could the thyme be silver lemon?

Hi Greth: I'd given up on anyone responding to this thread. Thank you.
Actually, I was kidding. "Purple Haze" was a rock song from the 1970's.

I'm thinking that the thyme is "Silver Lemon."
Thanks again.

Hi Denise! That is Silver-edged thyme. I just planted a couple of these as filler between russian sage and cast iron plants. I have Lemon thyme which has also done wonderfully...it is more yellow-tinged green.

That purple sage is gorgeous!!! It seems I need to start looking at different varieties of sage!

Hi Shannon: Well, thank you for the compliment; I really do have to add Purple Sage again.
And Thanks for the name on my thyme--Silver-Edged Thyme!

Lemon Thyme is great. Can you post a photo of your garden. Glad you posted!

Hi all lovely photos of your herbs. I also have purple sage, the bees really love it. Lemon thyme and silver thyme.

Does anyone know where i can buy seed for silver thyme? The plants are quite expensive when you have a large area to cover. I had great success growing ordinary thyme from seed.

Many thanks, sandra

Google for seed, sorry I dunno. I would buy one plant and do dozens of cuttings rather than rely on seed. If you are good at seedlings, give it a try, won't be much faster/slower.
