Hello there, I am new to this site and hope someone can help me. I am trying to germinate juncus filiformis spiralis seed. It has been about 3 weeks. I have them on top of seed starting mix under grow lights. Has anyone had success with this? How long should it take? I bought this plant from a local grower last year and was very happy with it but didn't know much about it. Now I have found the seed but can't seem to find much info about germinating it. HELP!! Thanks for any info.}

I found information on juncus filiformis spiralis. The web address is: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/55269/ The propagation methods listed are: dividing the root ball and seed collection. They dont know anything about seed collection. It needs light to germinate and consistently moist soil. Cant let it dry out between waterings. I just started cacti from seed with a grow light. I sprinkled the seed on top of the soil and covered the pot with plastic wrap before placing under a grow light. Kept the moisture in and kept the seeds warm as well. Hope this helps! Angela
