Anyone know how to make the picture appear, rather than the link to the picture?

You were doing it right, but in Picasa, rightclick the image, select "View Image", then use that address in the imagelink tag. Scott

Your third post probably would have worked, but the / that you typed in front of imagelink is supposed to go the other way, like this: \imagelink BTW, I like your user name.

Still not working? When I'm viewing my album in Picasa I click on the picture to make it bigger. When I right click the picture I see the option to "View Image" but it's not available for me to click on (it's not highlighted). Please help! I really want to share pics here. I keep getting red x boxes instead of pictures? Jamie

To get the URL of your image, click that link in your third post, then right click the image in Picasa and click "View Image", then copy the URL. (I'm not having any problem copying the URL from Picasa after I click "View Image".) Then click the third button from the right in the top row of icons above the box where you type your message in GardenBuddies. A text box opens where you can paste the URL of your image. This is the link that GB puts in for you if you do what I described above: \imagelink{http://lh4.ggpht.com/jamie.rex9/RmgyTvhNy5I/AAAAAAAAFSg/xpxpCt41 fLA/100_9079.jpg?imgmax=640} And this is what GB displays using the code shown above:
If you are still unable to click on "View Image" in Picasa after right-clicking the image, maybe someone who uses Picasa will come along and offer suggestions.

If the pictures are on your hard drive (your computer) just use the little paperclip on the toolbar where you are typing the message on GB. You will be able to "browse" your files to select the correct picture. I upload my pics like that and have no problems that way...only drawback is you have to resize the pics...hope this helps
