Hi all, First time using these forums... On a recent trip to Chile I encountered a really amazing plant. It has a blue, waxy flower with asparagus-like extensions. This plant was found on the rocky apex of a small mountain at about 1000 m elevation, with good direct sunlight and a moderate amount of wind. Although these photos don't show it, there were some "skeletons" of dead plants which had left behind a mound of a sort of porous wood. Can you identify this plant?
