This is The Band Played On, Stamile. Grace Stamile says it is the first to bloom and the last in their garden. It does not stop in between. Lamberson, Amber Spyglass, love this one.

Well Joe when Elf Power get big enough to split I will give you a start. The Bank Played On is a new 2007 intro that I bought during the Daylily Mecca this year. Grace Stamile said that it bloomed all summer long for them.It is a beauty.

Twila, what's the name of that pink one? And is it really that color, or changed by the camera/lighting? I've been looking for a true pink for about 15 years and never have found one that true pink color.

It is that color here for me, they named it Big Blue, I can't see why. It seems like different soils and conditions make a difference in the color. I just got it in Fla. this spring and it rebloomed for me until late but it is still on Fla time, so I will have to see how it does next year. I just cut a scape from The Band Played On, it has been blooming all summer.

Keets, I love Amber Spyglass, She is my favorite but the Band Played on is also wonderfully velvety and pretty too. I also like the Freeda James and Big Blue. My daylily are all finished now and the last one I bought for the season was a white 'Sunday Gloves' and will winter her indoors in a cool spot as I didn't want to chance planting late now Zone 3-4 ND Butrscoch Luke
