This area was full of aquilegias in June, now campanulas start. There is C. persicifolia, white...
A closer look at C. persicifolia, blue. Here C. latifolia in blue ...and in white... A close look at. C. trachelium, white. The blue ones are not yet in bloom. C. lactiflora is a very pale blue bell, but I could not capture its colour.

Just beautiful! I especially love the dark blue ones. Rabbits ate my Campanula, so no flowers this year. (groan)

I'm fond of campanulas too. Unfortunately so are voles. Your photo of white C. trachelium is inspiring! Unfortunately only one of mine has survived the voles for more than a year or two. My favourite Campanula is lactiflora 'Loddon Anna' which has done well for many years and so far has escaped vole attacks. Do you also grow C. pyramidalis? I'm thinking of planting it to have something tall and narrow in July when the foxgloves are finished. I don't think I've ever seen it growing in person, so I wonder if it really does get as huge as it says in the descriptions.

I have once tried to grow C. pyramidalis from seed, but did not succeed. In my garden C. latifolia's are quite high, about 120 cm. I'm lucky, no slugs, no voles :D

And what about a blue one with deep violet eyes? It is its first year in my garden, but I definitely love it : Campanula primulaefolia (or primulifolia):
Another new beauty here, but I'm afraid of planting it in the garden, as it is a punctata, and they usually tend to be VERY invasive in my soil...*C. punctata 'Wedding Bells'...hmmm...

Very pretty! I really like the white ones you have there (the 4th photo down) what variety is that one as I would like to get myself one of those. I have seen that one in the purple too but never knew the name of it?? Golden
