My grocery store had a nice little display of house plants today along with this campanula....had to buy it. hehehe But I cannot find out any information about it now -campanula blue wonder
It is so dainty and the blue flowers look like roses. I just couldn't resist.

I had it several times too Jane, but it doesn't survive our winters outside. Have also tried keeping it as a house plant, no luck there either.

I have bought them in the past to cheer me up until the snow goes away. They seem to love the conditions in the grocery store where I got them, but don't like my house or garden. I suggest enjoying it while it lasts.

How pretty! I wonder if it's a type of C isophylla. Good luck with it Jane!

I bought one last year, too. I planted it in the ground and the leaves are still there althought it's a bit "winterized". I'll keep you posted.

Well, I guess I will just cross my fingers and hope for the best. But it is so cute.....for a VERY short lived perennial.LOL

I too couldn't resist those cuties at the Philadelphia Flower Show (March 04). They seem to love being potbound; they're currently inside and receive indirect filtered light. I too am looking for more care instructions; the flowers are looking pretty ragged and I'm wondering if I should deadhead or wait and see if they self-deadhead. (A friend who bought them with me said her original flowers all fell off.)
