Okay all you campanula freaks, I received some seeds in a seed trade last year that were labelled campanula persicola. I have attempted to find information about this type of plant but can't find anything. When I search on google, it asks if I meant campanula pensacola and even if I search for pensacola, I don't get any really good information and no pictures as to what this plant looks like. I successfully started the plant from seed, but would really like to know what the plant might look like before it blooms, if it's an annual or perennial, etc. I currently have the plants in a large pot on the patio but who knows when it might actually get to blooming size. HELP!!! SOS!!! LOLOLOL!!! Seriously, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Campanula persifolia maybe? If so, it's a perennial. The leaves are sort of long and form a mat. The slender stalks come up maybe 12-18" with lovely blue or white flowers depending. When the flowers are done, don't cut the stalks! It reblooms on the same stalk. Mine blooms from about late early to late summer. Divide the clumps every couple of years to keep it blooming well.

Thanks for the info Wanda. Perhaps that is what it is. I will take some pictures when it blooms and post them to see if you still think that is what it is. Thanks again.

I think you mean C persicifolia, the peach leaved bellflower. It's one of my favorite perennials.
