That's the one that got me, too. They haven't bloomed yet but they're growing fine. Mine are the white Peach Leaved Bell Flowers.

I love the perscifolias. I think it was one of my first campanulas too, and it blooms all summer for me which is an added bonus. I can't decide if I like the blue or the white best.

Yes, I think persicifolias are my favorites. One I've really enjoyed is "Chettle Charm" which is white with a pale blue rim on the edge of the petal. Very charming. That would suit you Wanda, as it has both colors!

'Kent Belle' is also on my list. According to my local source, it get to 30"-must be due to the colder zone. 'Chettle Charm' is also gorgeous...hmmm...

My 'Kent Belle' is planted in a very sheltered and sunny spot Sue, maybe that's why it gets to 4ft

Gardenbug one of the nicest combos I ever saw I learned from Penelope Hobhouse. It is Campanula persicifolia and roses. I had a group of them planted with some yellow Austin Roses and the combo was to die for! Now alas no room for roses and groundhogs devoured most of my Campanulas right before they bloomed but some day I will have that mix again.

Campanulas are my favorites to. I like all the the perennials. I used to love going to work to see all the perennials in flower in the greenhouses.I worked with perennials for 22 years. Its nice potting them and watching them grow.I had to quit though cause i got sick.I know their latin names and english .I had to go to the greenhouses and get them for retail and wholesale orders.

Gardenbug, that campanula is the one I've been trying to find, with no success. I saw it in Deanne's garden and fell in love with it. Did you grow from seed, or purchase plants? The few nursery catalogs I looked in had double flowers, which are pretty too, I just didn't know if it blooms as prolifically as the one you have appears to.

You have to try cup and saucer - it comes in purple pink and white and its my favorite! Very cottage like. The only downside is it is a bieannual. Unfortunately this isnt the best picture of how pretty they really are but I will have to wait till summer now - boy SUMMER will that be nice!!! Golden

I also started growing this one recently and I loved the blue color. The blooms were very abundant but I wish they lasted a bit longer.

I also enjoy the small variety Campanula Carpatica 'White Clips' and 'Blue Clips'. These bloom for a very long time.

I just received my Campanula "Cherry Bells" from Bluestone Perennials and I also have the Campanula "Sarastro" that I planted last week. The Sarastro has dark purple shaped bells and grows to be about 15-18" high. I was visiting a rose garden last June that neighbors open up to the public and saw Cherry Bells planted in front of a rose bush. What a beautiful plant. So when I saw this species at HD I just grabbed it. Then I came across the Cherry Bells on Bluestones sale, so now I have some campanulas. I would like some of the taller types. Maybe next year! All your pictures are making me green with envy! Are Canterbury bells the same as cup and saucers? suebot in CT
