This is Campanula trachelium 'Bernice'. She is an English introduction with blue-violet paper like double bells with the ends upturned. The plant reaches about 24" in height.

If you enjoy double flowered blooms, Campanula persicifolia 'Moerheimii' has lovely showy white bells and grows to about 30" tall.

Nice picture, GB. I bought a small start of this one this year. The foliage is growing nicely; I'm hoping to get blooms this coming year. Hope they look as nice as yours!

And Wanda, you'll have even more the next year! I like to remove the blooms as they age because they tend to turn brown.

I am embarrassed to say that I don't have any campanulas except for 'White Clips' which is a ground cover. These taller blues are really nice. Do they need full sun?

They'll grow anywhere...and plant themselves where they like. Easy to remove those you don't want. Mine grow in part sun. They'll grow between walkway stones too, which is where the ones in the top photo seeded themselves.
The white Moerheimii that I grow are in a more shaded area and would likely enjoy more sun.
Campanula punctata 'wedding bells' grows to 28" and has a spreading tendency- with double "hose in hose" white pendant bells.
