Has anyone grown this one? I had it in England and loved it, it's a taller type with white drooping bells along the stem. It bloomed for such a long time, it was one of my favorite perennials, I'd love to have it again.

I haven't grown it but I saw a listing for seeds for it recently in the Gardens North catalog (it's a Canadian seed company, very reliable). The description says it's one of the few white-flowering species.

It's a lovely creature and has proven completely hardy here in Minnesota. It does need a good mulch to prevent being soiled during hard rains since it's almost impossible to clean off after such an event - otherwise, it is one of the finest and longest-flowering shade plants I know!
