This is a new one for me . Love the richness of the colour. Now I just need to make space for it.

Were you laying on the ground to take this shot? I have this new this year as well and it is a floppy thing.... where do you think you'll put it? I ended up putting a cage around it but I am still not too happy. And I like it so much but to see the flowers, you have to be a contortionist...!

What a beauty. I love that color. I will be waiting to see how you both solve the "floppy" problem. I think it will be worth it what ever it takes.

Jane.I was crouching quite low to take this shot as I really liked the colour of the sky and the campanula together. As for the floppy problem Meg, don't tell DH, but I am planning another bed in the lawn. I have a specimen rhus laciniata-"stag's horn sumach" planted in the lawn and I plan to move Black knight buddleia and my cotinus (purple smoke bush) to join them in a new bed. Perrennials will be this campanula, white agapanthus ,purple geraniums, bronze carex and hemerocalis from another part of the garden. I am awaiting tulips, daffs, lilies alliums and hyacinths and I will plant some of these in the new bed when they arrive. If that doesn't make the campanula sit up and stand proud , then I don't know what will!!

That is a lovely shot. Had to smile about your plans! How I would love to dig up my lawn! Good luck with your new bed - when are you planning on constructing it?

Hi everyone, I have these for a long time but no idea what kind it is. Is this the same campanula in discussion? Mine is floppy too.
