I love these plants....especially that they are survivors! I started all from seeds a few years ago and planted them out as a hedge row in front of a large ditch behind the garden. Later in the year we had to do some work on the ditch/lagoon and the Bobcat operator dozed about three feet of dirt up over the bank they were growing on. I was just sick to loose them.......next spring much to my surprise I saw these plants popping up and recognized them as my hibicus. I was delighted. They have survived our drought quite well without much supplementary watering. You have got to love a plant like this. The pale pink with the red eye is probably 12 inches across. The other blooms are smaller, maybe 6 inches or so.

Lovely. I found that if they survive the first Winter, they will come back for many years. A very rewarding plant to grow with blooms that always attract attention. Nice shots.

They are beautiful! No way these blooms go unnoticed in the garden.

I have a beautiful one too. My questions are: 1)How did you do to obtain seeds? 2)How long it took to germinate
