Not sure where to share this photo..but this forum seems appropriate. Hope someone finds it here. My Yellow Hibiscus that I grew out on my deck finally bloomed! Right now it's safely tucked into the warm greenhouse.
And I'll just tuck this other bloom in here if that's okay..Flowering Maple that is also in bloom.

Great flowers, Pixc. I've always thought about flowering Maple. Do you treat it like the Hibiscus? My new tropical Hibiscus bloomed for the first time last weekend. A Home Despot offering that I got as a gift a couple of months ago.
Same flower
I hope you don't mind my adding the pix. They are yellow!!! LOL

Hi Andy! I don't mind you adding the pix...especially when they are as gorgeous as those two! This thread was getting quite lonely-lol. Yes, the care for the Flowering Maple is quite similar to the your tropical hibiscus. I've since found out that my hibiscus in the photo is an annual hibiscus. It set some seeds so I'm hoping they will be viable and I can replant next spring. And thanks Maria for your nice comment! :-)

I had an annual Hibiscus this year, too. Red Shield, but it didn't flower so I took cuttings. Two out of four are hanging in there, I hope that at least one makes it. It's a pretty plant even without flowers but awfully big, to 8 feet.
