Well this is what I get for planting my Hibiscus on the community grounds of my town home community. I came home from work and my hibiscus was whacked down to the ground. This plant was about 4.5 feet (what you are seeing in the picture is about 12-14in). It was all dead from frost but I was just going to leave it until the frosts ended. It's still kind of cold at night and frost is still a risk do you think this will cause more stain on an already stressed plant! You can see the evidence to the right of the plant.

Fortunately, it will most likely recover and even be thicker than before... Sorry for the 'whack job'.

They might regret cutting it that far back then LOL, you can see I planted it too close to the sidewalk :). Thanks for the reassurance

The hibiscus has passed on :( , when I dug her up to replace her with another plant the roots looked horrible.
