Here is one of the blooms on my Blue River II hibiscus.
Here's the plant it came from.
Here's a Blue River II that I started three years ago from seeds taken from the above hibiscus.
This was kind of exciting since it's the first hibiscus I ever tried starting from seeds. I actually grew six of them and gave five of them away to friends and neighbors. This is planted in my back perennial bed.

I really like it, Patti. I grow mine with a red one by our garden shed. They sure put on a show, don't they?!

Yes, they really do put on quite a show. When I got my first Hibiscus, I was disappointed to learn that the blooms only last about a day, but that quickly disappeared when I found out they are almost never without flowers once they start blooming. Tanya, which red variety do you have?

Yes, Donna, mine certainly did, but I don't know if that will always be the case. Oh well, if not, I will have something different and exciting and that might be better.
