Now that is just showing off! ;)
How do you control the grass in the cut outs? Is that a done thing or have you just made that up? Looks so nice with the irises and the taller grasses. Love the planting around the trees too.

Hi Moira That is actually phlox. They started as very small transplants & I never expected them to take off like they have. This spring, I took garden scissors & gave them that haircut. As far as the general shape, they just sort of did that themselves!
