Huh. You just dig a hole in the middle of the lawn and plant it! Rarely see that in England. Most of the time the plants are flung to the edges because everyone wants nice straight lines on their lawn. I prefer the American way.
Do you do all the stone piling as well Lisa?

Funny you mention that...you should have seen the looks I got from driver's by the day I put that in! lol

Yes, but the one in the back is just temporary. I unloaded them out of the truck & just sort of set them there to get an idea of how it would look. It looks out of level b/c it really is. I haven't decided if I will leave them there or not. I have been thinking for a couple of months now about moving those & using them to build up the beds on each side of my sidewalk beds (that you can see in the 1st picture). I was going to put a post on GB asking for opinions on that, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
(Actually, I almost started that project last week, but decided not to b/c then I'd have to find the time to finish it)! lol
