Late, because of lack of film developing funds. Aug 15th are also taken, but not ready yet. Left front Garden, Jessieangel at 18 months, big changes here. I have weeded back about 5 metres, feels like more! There is a rock ridge running straight thru this garden, top to bottom, and some of the rocks took days to dig out. Sorry it would take more than my brain power to put these alongside the april ones - open another window to compare if you like.
Here I removed a large scented pelargonium to make way for room for annuals.
No real changes here.
This bed is above the last one. Didnt take one on april 15th, wasn't worth it. Lots of different lavenders and rosemaries here. The bigger thing is an elder tree.
This compares to photo 4 in the last set, only looking uphill not down.
This veggie photo matches 7 in the last lot.Tomatoes have gone and weeds have grown, sigh (but wait for august pikkies, big changes now)
Close up of front left bed, this is the area I dug out, with my wind flamingo.
No changes for the retaining wall, but those daisies are now looking alive.

Hi Greth, just checking out your photos, you mentioned that you had lost some due to dryness, how long since you have seen any rain there? the ground does look dry, but the plants that are green and healthy looking are obviously the toughies that can cope with the dry. Keep up the great work. Happy Gardening. Lyn

We've had nearly 10 ml so far in August, but our usual is more like 70. So having to water in winter. Should improve yet, there's often a fair amount of rain in September. I try to concentrate on toughies - less disappointing that way! The water lovers I can't live without go in the shadehouse with my sale plants, which gets watered most days anyway.
