Hi all, I bought a couple of hanging baskets last spring, that had supertunia in them, and they bloomed marvelously.
This year, am looking to start my own flowers in these same baskets, but need ideas for fast growing, scented, colouful flowers. Apart from sweet alyssum, brazillian heart begonia, sweet potato vine, wave petunia and nasturtium, is there anything else that fits my requirements, or should I just stick to these?

Bluewillow, designing containers can go as far as your imagination ! use anything you wish. got sun ! try minature roses,I've done this in baskets and regular pots. Maybe scented geraniams, how about some helitrope for a scent of vanillia. if it's perinnial and you can't leave it in the basket, transplant it for next season, either in the ground or in a another pot and store in doors someplace. just don't think flowers, but also folige! even house plants can be used, most enjoy a time outside during spring and summer months. .....Mike

I love bacopa for a "filler". I think you can get it with blue flowers, but I prefer white. It seems to bloom all summer long.
